A portion of the district's existing Auxiliary Services building will be demolished due to the expansion of Highway 183. The new Auxiliary Services facility will be relocated to a new site and will house the maintenance, transporation and child nutrition departments in addition to the district's bus fleet and support vehicles.
TxDOT has made offers to purchase parts of district properties adjacent to the proposed frontage roads for the Airport Freeway expansion.
Any funds derived from the sale of district land and facilities will be used to reimburse the costs associated with relocating the facility. Please check for updates about the project. |
