CONVERTING EXISTING CAMPUS FOR KEYS HS/DAEP
Relocate Keys hs and daep
-
proposed relocation:
Move KEYS HS from FEW (Forrest E. Watson Center) to Current Bell Manor site. Proximity to Buinger could increase access to additional CTE courses.
Bond funds would be used to renovate and repurpose the campus currently being used as Bell Manor for KEYS High School and the District Alternative Education Program (DAEP) program.
Bell Manor Elementary was built in 1969 and is one of the oldest elementary schools in the district. The smaller classroom sizes at this campus would accommodate the smaller class sizes in the KEYS and DAEP programs.
Renovations at the campus would include interior refreshes (new paint, flooring, etc.) and restroom updates.
The proximity of this campus to Buinger CTE Academy could offer students additional course opportunities in career and technical education.
